Wednesday’s 3rd-5th grade class finished their Georgia O’Keefe inspired flowers.  This project was adapted from Denise Logan’s Amazing Art Projects for Children.  We started with a pencil drawing of a flower, then painted the flower in watercolor.  After the watercolor was dry, we added more depth with chalk pastels.  The finishing touch was squeezable paint applied with a hair color applicator. : )  Everyone loved this last step!

They all worked so hard on these and were so proud of the finished pieces.  Beautiful work, everyone!
