These still life paintings by my 3rd-5th grade class are just stunning!  What a great way to end the year.  They all worked so hard on their observational skills, color mixing, and composition.  I allowed them to use artistic license with color.  I love their color choices and individual expression.  These were drawn with vine charcoal and painted with tempera.  Additional shading was added with vine charcoal as a final touch.
