Bryce Canyon Hoodoos

The kids blew me away with the last project of “Art, American Style.”  We drew hoodoos from Bryce Canyon.  Hoodoos are spire like rock formations.  We drew them in black oil pastel and colored them with chalk pastels.  We talked about layering colors and blending.  These are absolutely stunning!  If I didn’t see it with my own eyes, I would never believe these were done by 6-10 year olds!
