Picasso Dogs

Our last project of the summer was Picasso Dogs.  This was a fun thing to do after the serious Mona Lisa project.  We began by drawing an eye on our paper with sharpie marker, then rotated our paper 90 degrees each time we added another dog feature.  Then we connected our dog-like features to make a very Picasso-esque dog. This was totally about creativity and fun.    It was a little hard for some students to let go of there being a right and wrong way and just have fun.  Some really embraced it.  All the results were great fun!  Thank you to Carla Sonheim for the fun idea!
