Our second project on day one of “Art, American Style” was a cityscape mono print.  This project tied in nicely with our Statue of Liberty paintings.  We did our background in puck tempera and then used tempera paint to paint our city on one half of the paper and “print” in on the other side to show the reflection in the water.  These were quick and fun and really give a feeling of atmosphere.
